Environmental commissions know that abandoned gas stations, municipal landfills, old dry cleaner properties, and vacant industrial buildings and lots, can be a burden to the communities in which they are located. But these properties can also become real assets once they are redeveloped for active use.

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) recognizes that there are multiple hurdles to clear before these “brownfield” sites can be transformed into beneficial reuse.

This webinar offers details on several programs to assess, investigate, and clean up these sites for redevelopment.Hear about the initiatives and programs that help municipalities assess, investigate, and remediate brownfield sites.

Presenters will provide overviews on the Hazardous Discharge Site Remediation Fund, Brownfields Planning and Assessment Services, and the Brownfields Redevelopment Incentive Program.
