Daniel T. Bachalis, 2026 Board Vice-President
Dan is the former Director of the Office of Housing Policy, Planning, and Evaluation for the NJ Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services. A former Councilman for the Town of Hammonton and current chair of the Hammonton Environmental Commission, he is also chair of the municipality’s Lake Water Quality Advisory Committee and a member of the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee.

 

 

 

Shaneka Boucher
Shaneka is the President and Founder of Social Responsibility Through Me (SRTM), a non-profit organization based in Camden, New Jersey dedicated to addressing critical social issues impacting youth. In addition, Shaneka has held numerous impactful roles, including Camden City Council Member from 2020 to 2023, where she led the development of cumulative impact legislation to address pollution in overburdened communities, and as a board member of Clean Water Action for the State of New Jersey, where she continues to advocate for the environment and public health in Camden.

 

 

 

 

Lee Clark
Lee is the Program Manager for New Jersey Future’s Funding Navigator program and is an adjunct professor of communication at Kean University. In addition, he is a town councilman in Phillipsburg, New Jersey and holds a certificate in Board Leadership and Governance through the DiverseForce Program from the University of Pennsylvania. In his spare time, Lee is an avid hiker and camper.

 

 


Jennifer Feltis Cortese, 2026 Board Treasurer
Jennifer currently works in the Director’s Office for the Division of Water Quality at the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), where she has worked on a variety of projects, including planning and sustainable communities, coastal zone management, performance management, environmental justice and electric vehicle planning and, more recently, water infrastructure financing and water quality initiatives. Jennifer also serves on the Executive Committee for the American Planning Association, New Jersey Chapter, and as the Natural Resources Task Force leader for Sustainable Jersey.

 

 

 


Geoffrey M. Goll, P.E.
Geoffrey is a founding partner and President of Princeton Hydro, LLC, a water resources and geosciences engineering and consulting firm. Born and raised in New Jersey, he spent his childhood enjoying the outdoors including exploring local streams, lakes and woods. Geoffrey has over 34 years of experience in engineering design and environmental consulting.

 

 

 


Rayna Laiosa, 2026 Board President
Rayna is the chair of the Hawthorne Environmental Commission/Green Team. Under her leadership, the Hawthorne EC has been awarded environmental awards for improvements to Eight Acre Woods and the creation of Hawthorne’s Green Map. Rayna holds a masters of engineering in environmental engineering and a bachelor of science in environmental science.

 

 

 

 


Raymond LeChien

Raymond is a proud public servant and member of the Brick Township Environmental Commission. Previously, he worked for the Ocean County Health Department and Department of Parks and Recreation, and also served as the AmeriCorps Watershed Ambassador for WMA 13 (Barnegat Bay). He loves New Jersey and may be its biggest fan.

 

 

 

 

 

Sean Moriarty
Sean served as a previous Deputy Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) and is particularly proud of his role in the development of New Jersey’s first-in-the-nation Environmental Justice regulatory program. Currently, Sean is a strategic advisor and consultant, bringing a broad experience, insight and understanding of complex government systems and policymaker mindsets to help clients meet goals in the most efficient and effective manner possible.

 

 

 

Francesca Mundrick, 2026 Board Secretary
Francesca is a professor of geography at Rowan University and is the founder and Executive Director of Rewild New Jersey Community Cooperative (RNJCC), an organization focused on scalable community rewilding that works to transform both nature and people. She is currently pursuing a PhD of Sustainability Education with Prescott College in Arizona. In addition, Francesca serves as Community Outreach Commissioner on the Pitman Environmental Commission and as the New Jersey Ambassador for the American Conservation Coalition (ACC).

 

 

 


Lisa Plevin
Lisa has worked to protect New Jersey’s environment for over 40 years. Her background includes working for environmental nonprofit organizations, as Deputy State Director for US Senator Lautenberg, as Chief of Staff for EPA Region 2 and then as Executive Director of the New Jersey Highlands Council. Recently retired, she is currently an active volunteer with the Parsippany Environmental Advisory Committee and Green Team, and the New Jersey League of Conservation Voters.

 

 

 

 

Stephen J. Souza, Ph.D.
Stephen is the owner of Clean Waters Consulting, LLC and the founding partner of Princeton Hydro, LLC. Over the past 35 years he has dedicated his career to the management and restoration of aquatic ecosystems in particular lakes, ponds and reservoirs.

 

 

 

 


Laura Szwak
Laura has worked in the land conservation and planning field, starting with the National Park Service in Washington DC, Morris Land Conservancy (now NJ Land Conservancy), and is recently retired from NJ Conservation Foundation. She serves on the Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority and the Mount Olive Township Open Space Committee as well as ANJEC’s board.
